Job Title: SRE/DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Company: Number Group Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated SRE/DevOps Engineer with 2-3+ years of experience to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly-available infrastructure across cloud platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about Kubernetes, cloud technologies, automation, and web3 infrastructure to work in a cutting-edge environment.


Responsibilities

  • Be part of an on-call rotation to assist with infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and testing processes.
  • Build and maintain monitoring systems (Grafana/Prometheus) to ensure uptime and proactively address issues.
  • Expand upon automation tooling using tools like Terraform and scripting languages like Python.
  • Maintain, scale, and optimize web3 node infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to alleviate deployment bottlenecks and streamline testing processes.
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to industry best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
Required Skills

  • 2-3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization using Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems and troubleshooting.
  • Programming/scripting skills, particularly in Python.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Add NGMI to your application somewhere
  • Must be able to pass KYC (Know Your Customer) and sanctions checks.
Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
  • Understanding of Web3 infrastructure and tools.
  • Knowledge of Istio or other Kubernetes service meshes.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana/Prometheus.
