As a Cryptocurrency Trader at the fund, you will play a pivotal role in executing digital asset trading strategies, with a strong focus on technical analysis, risk management, and downside mitigation. You will leverage your deep understanding of both traditional and crypto markets to anticipate market movements and execute trades that align with our broader investment goals. Your expertise with on-chain trading platforms and crypto-specific tools will be critical in navigating this fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sophisticated trading strategies using technical analysis, focusing on both spot and derivative markets across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges.
Utilise advanced crypto tools and platforms, including on-chain trading platforms, to analyse market data, identify trading opportunities, and optimise trade execution.
Implement robust risk management techniques, with a focus on downside protection and capital preservation, to mitigate exposure to market volatility.
Monitor market trends and news, employing both quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform trading decisions and adjust strategies proactively.
Collaborate with the investment team to integrate cryptocurrency strategies with our broader portfolio, to enhance overall performance.
Continuously refine trading algorithms and systems, focusing on improving execution efficiency and reducing slippage.
Stay informed about regulatory changes and technological advancements in the crypto space, ensuring compliance and adaptability.
Prepare detailed reports on trading performance, market conditions, and strategy adjustments for senior management and stakeholders.


Who You Are:

A highly skilled cryptocurrency trader with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably with a background in trading or quantitative analysis at a traditional finance (TradFi) institution or a leading crypto firm.
Expertise in technical analysis and a strong understanding of trading indicators, chart patterns, and market signals.
Proficient in using advanced crypto tools and trading platforms, including on-chain analytics and automated trading systems.
Strong knowledge of on-chain trading platforms and decentralised finance (DeFi) protocols.
Experienced in risk management, particularly in deploying strategies that mitigate downside risk and protect capital during volatile market conditions.
Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex market data into actionable trading strategies.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex trading concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Adaptable and forward-thinking, with a keen interest in the evolving landscape of digital assets and blockchain technology.
